Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP)
The Australian visa for innovation is the Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP), which is designed to attract highly skilled and talented individuals to Australia in areas of innovation, science, and technology. This visa allows successful applicants to live and work in Australia permanently.
To be eligible for the Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP), you must be highly skilled and have a track record of exceptional achievement in one of seven target sectors:
- AgTech
- Space and Advanced Manufacturing
- FinTech
- Energy and Mining Technology
- MedTech
- Cyber Security
- Quantum Information, Advanced Digital, Data Science and ICT
To apply for this visa, you must first be nominated by an Australian organisation or individual who is recognized as a leader or expert in the same field as you. Once you have been nominated, you must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and be invited to apply for the visa.
The Global Talent Independent Program (GTIP) is a streamlined visa pathway that allows for faster processing times and priority processing. Successful applicants will also have access to dedicated services to help them settle into Australia.
